Suspect Breaks Into 9 Vehicles in Maspeth
At approximately 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, 9 vehicles were broken into on 59th Drive off Fresh Pond Road in Maspeth, Queens, a Maspeth resident informed Roe Daraio, President of COMET. They broke into each car looking for valuables. Daraio tells residents if anyone inflatable water slide finds their vehicle broken into and has not reported it, to please do so.
Either stop at the 104th Precinct or call 911 and tell the operator that you want to make a report that your vehicle was broken into. Captain Cody states that police will provide extra surveillance to the area.
According to the resident windows were smashed in and cars were robbed of radios, money, loose change and other items.
Daraio warns everyone not to bouncy castle leave any items in your car even if it’s a hassle, and if you do and your possessions get stolen – report all crimes so the police can take appropriate action.
