Initial applications to renovate an abandoned warehouse at 78-16 Cooper Ave. for a proposed 125-family homeless shelter were put on hold this week.
In order to expand the warehouse and make room for the Samaritan Village transitional hüpfburg kaufen housing facility, the applicant submitted three necessary applications with the Department of Buildings (DOB) on July 11 to begin the renovation process.
The proposal; to expand, along with plumbing and mechanical fixtures applications, were sent back to the applicant by DOB on July 28.
