Edsall Avenue has been prone to flooding every time there’s heavy rain in the area.

Residents have complained for years about this type of flooding.

Hopefully, help is on the way.

Community Board 5 recently released its list of top capital priorities for Fiscal Year 2020.

Reconstructing the sewer lines on Edsall Avenue from 71st Place to 73rd Place in the third highest project, as rated by CB5 members.

The first two priorities are also related to fixing sewer problems in the CB5 area.

There have been several sewer projects in nearby neighborhoods in recent years, including Calamus Avenue in Maspeth and Penelope Avenue in Middle Village.

We hope Edsall Avenue Inflatable Water Slide in Glendale is next on that list because the project is desperately needed.
