Fundraiser set up for Glendale fire victims

A GoFundMe is hoping to raise money for the families impacted by the devastating fire in Glendale on Saturday.

Sanela Selmanovic, a Woodside resident, set up the page to help offset costs for the the Habib and Vasile families who lived upstairs from the Farmer’s Market at 72019 Myrtle Avenue.

According to Selmanovic, the families, have a combined four children under the age of 10 and had no renters insurance. All of their valuables were destroyed in the blaze.

(Any unused clothing will be donated to charities that will help similarly situated persons).”

The GoFundMe is hoping to raise $12,000.
