Comptroller Scott Stringer stopped by Glendale last week for a roundtable discussion with local stakeholders.
They discussed topics including homelessness and affordable housing, late payments to nonprofit organizations and the school safety situation at Sacred Heart school.
Stringer spent the day in Queens, later visiting the Peter Cardella Senior Center, Ridgewood Older Adult Center and Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood.
The man in charge of the city’s finances said he will take the issues he’s learned from the discussion back to his office to better inform his actions.
