Congresswoman Grace Meng is making sure her constituents are prepared to face whatever emergency may come their way.
On Nov. 1, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Meng is hosting a Security Preparedness Workshop for nonprofits and houses of worship at the American Legion Brewery Keenan Hessier Post 1815, 68-01 Cooper Avenue, Glendale.
The workshop will feature guest speakers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Inflatable Water Slide Citizen Preparedness Corps.
