Pro-Wrestler Nicole Bass arrested for stealing groceries at Stop & Shop

101002Bass4BSPro wrestler Nicole Bass stands at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds. Maybe that’s why she thought she could get away with stealing groceries from Glendale’s Stop & Shop store.

The 50-year-old was seen 365toy loading up 152 food items and 17 health/beauty products at 8989 Union Turnpike around 8 p.m. She proceeded to leave the store with her grocery cart. The problem is, she hadn’t paid for any of it. In total, she stole $1,359 worth of items.

Bass performed in the World Wrestling Federation between 1999 and 2003 but left the WWF after accusing Steve Lombardi of sexual harassment. The case was ultimately dismissed. In recent years, she has been a regular guest and a member of the “Wack Pack” on “The Howard Stern Show,” where she usually takes part in bits regarding her size. She complained about being broke on the show this year.

She was charged with petit larceny and possession of stolen property but Queens prosecutors agreed to dismiss the case if she stays out of trouble for six months and attends a daylong counseling session about shoplifting.

The incident doesn’t seem to inflatable water slide have left Bass bitter. She returned home on Wednesday afternoon, carrying none other than a Stop & Shop grocery bag.
