A local Glendale Chef made his silver screen debut last night. Vinny Accardi, of Room 55 on 88th Street in Glendale, appeared on CNBC’s Restaurant Startup last night and walked away victorious.
According to a recap of the episode, Accardi accepted $100,000 in funding from Joe Bastianich – a television restaurant personality – in exchange for a 25 percent stake of what will be called 55 Steak.
Accardi invited locals down the restaurant last night to watch it with him and has been the target of local praise on social media today.
