The NYPD 104th Precinct Community Council is hosting the second annual Cop of the Year Awards Dinner on Thursday, January 26. This year’s award recipient is Det. Thomas Bell, of the 104th Precinct’s Community Affairs Division, a 16-year veteran.
The Glendale Kiwanis Club will also be honored as the Community Partner of the Year.
The dinner is from 7-11 p.m. at Villa Erasmo, 69-61 Juniper Boulevard South in Middle Village. For details on ticket information, see the flier below:
Tonight’s Movies on the Green event will feature a special Ridgewood Kids market which showcases local youth entrepreneurs.
From 3 to 9 p.m., local children and vendors will set up booths offering handmade crafts and goods. There will also be a raffle, free magic show, balloons, face painting and much more.
